Profile: Dr. Rob Neeter is a graduate from Amsterdam Medical School in Netherlands. After a short clinical career he worked in several positions in research and management within healthcare in Netherlands, Switzerland and South Korea. In the last 15 years he has been focusing on improving efficiency of care processes and health outcomes for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, COPD-asthma and cardiovascular disorders. In this capacity he has built expertise in the successful development and implementation of disease management software and services. He is founder of Diagnosis4Health, the leading company in Netherlands regarding the implementation of disease management programs with experience in over 1.000 practices, 40 hospitals and 300.000 patients. Since early 2007 he serves as senior advisor to VitalHealth, a cutting-edge health management software company. VitalHealth is a Dutch-US enterprise founded by Mayo Clinic (US) and Noaber Foundation (Netherlands) and a partner of Oracle. Neeter is deeply involved in the development of web-based multidisciplinary and multidisease clinical process software, enabling structurally successful management of chronic patients, who mostly suffer from multiple diseases and whose care mostly involves many different care providers.
